Reviews and Ratings
I had a lovely stay at the hotel. The room was small and a bit tired-looking, but the bathroom was spacious with a nice rain shower. The upgraded canal room had a very comfy bed that I wish I could have taken home. The breakfast hours were convenient, especially on a relaxing Sunday morning.
I had a great stay at the hotel. The rooms were perfect for us – clean, comfortable, and uncluttered. The service was exceptional, the location was very convenient, and the dining was wonderful. However, the rooms were not ready upon arrival, and the roadworks outside were a bit noisy. Overall, it was a fantastic experience.
My stay at the hotel was simply amazing. The rooms were superb with spacious and spotlessly clean spaces adorned with stained glass touches. The service from the staff was beyond exceptional, truly helpful and friendly. The location was great, allowing easy access to attractions and restaurants on foot or by tram. The dining experience was delicious, providing a fabulous and limitless selection of food. Overall, it was a fantastic experience with only a few minor drawbacks.
Wow! This hotel exceeded all my expectations. The rooms were incredibly spacious and came loaded with bottles of Gin, Whisky, and Rum, along with a variety of rubber ducks, candies, Vitamin water, and flowers. They even decorated the bed with rose petals and towel sculptures, what a lovely touch. The service was outstanding, ranging from the extremely friendly staff at reception to the happy breakfast team. The location couldn't have been better, just outside the center of Amsterdam with easy access to tram stops and all the attractions. The dining experience was phenomenal, with a self-service traditional Euro buffet available 24/7 and cooked-to-order eggs and pancakes. What a fantastic value for such high-quality service and amenities.
The hotel had really clean and comfortable rooms with plenty of charm overlooking the canal, though they were a bit small for the price. The bed was so comfy, I wished I could take it home, and a pillow menu was a nice touch. Service was very friendly and accommodating, though dealing with an issue required an apology and upgrade which could have been a big inconvenience if the hotel had been fully booked. The location was superb, leaving everything within a 10-15 minute walk, with easy access to all main attractions. The dining experience offered a good selection but could be improved with more options available. Overall, a delightful stay with fantastic staff and a great location.
During our stay at the hotel, I found the rooms to be comfortable with a firmer bed and a nice choice of pillows, complemented by wood furnishings with clean lines. Booking four months in advance for our stay from March 1-3, 2019, the room was rather small but it was really no problem.
